How to use Plenti as a non-Polish citizen?

🌍 Registration Requirements

If you are a foreign citizen living in Poland, welcome aboard! To successfully set up an account and rent equipment, you must meet the following mandatory criteria:

  • A Polish phone number: Required for account authorization, SMS codes, and delivery updates.

  • A Polish bank account: The verification process requires a standard bank account registered in your name at a Polish banking institution.

  • An EU Passport / ID or a residence card (Karta pobytu): You must provide a valid Polish residence card as your proof of identity during the verification process if you are not a European Union citizen.


💰 What is the rental limit?

The limit is the total value of equipment you can rent at a time. It depends on the total market value of the devices. We set it individually for each customer based on bank account verification.


How does verification work?

🏦 Bank account verification

The system will ask you to log into your bank through a secure connection. This gives our security department access to your transaction history from 3 last months.

  • Safety first: We use the Authologic system, ensuring the highest security standards.

  • Your data is safe: We never see your bank login or password. We also cannot perform any transactions or make changes to your account.

❗️ Depending on the equipment, identity verification may also be necessary. The system will either ask for it while you place your order, or we will send a request via email.

🛡️ Identity confirmation (mObywatel or ID + Selfie)

In some cases, verification with an ID document or the mObywatel app is enough to rent. We check databases like BIG or KRD, but we do not check the BIK database -the verification process at Plenti does not affect your credit score at the bank.

❗️ Depending on the equipment, bank verification may also be necessary. The system will either ask for it while you place your order, or we will send a request via email.


What affects your personal limit amount?

Our team analyzes your transaction history to assess risk and set a safe limit for you. The major factors are:

  • Your income

  • Your current commitments (e.g., loans, other subscriptions)

  • Shopping habits (e.g., frequent use of buy-now-pay-later services or gambling websites)


❗️ Make sure your data matches

For the verification to go quickly and smoothly, remember one important thing: all details must be consistent.

  • The name on your Plenti account,

  • The details on your ID / in the mObywatel app,

  • The bank account holder's details,

    ...must be exactly the same. Verification will fail if you try to link someone else's bank account (e.g., a family member's).
